The Herb Alpert Award in the Arts is an unrestricted prize of $75,000 given annually to risk-taking mid-career artists working in the fields of dance, film/video, music, theatre and the visual arts.
Alpert Artist Shirin Neshat ('00) explores “the universal experience of pain and mourning on both a personal and a national level” in her newest exhibition, “Shirin Neshat: Our House Is on Fire”.
Open at the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation until March 1st.
