Using film, photography, social interventions, installation, performance, writing, sound, extensive research, and a variety of narrative structures, Jacir’s conceptual and multi-disciplinary work is both aesthetically and politically acute. A Palestinian artist who moves between Ramallah and New York and lives around the Mediterranean, she continues to question constructions of knowledge, history and resistance.
